Rumah dah mula mengeluarkan retakan kecil atau 'hairline' crack. Kat living room sahaja ada 5 line. Sebelah tangga ada 3 lines.

Porch Design



How i design my porch? Following are the steps...



1) Get your exact floor map ( I draw using Visio), including those wiring, autogate , etc . Every inches must match the exact.


2) Get your rough design.


3) Match those design with tiles available in market ( I choose 30cm X 30cm).


4) Add some design, border, center pieces, skirting.

5) Estimate how many pieces ( by adding 5 to 10% variation) . FYI, usually MML /Niro has offer during end month. Other store also have good offer for clearance stock.

MML also provide good offers if we buy the whole pallete (600 pieces minimum)

For lasting of porch, I tried to choose locally brand, like MML, Guocera, Niro or WHorse.

Total cost for my porch is about RM1300
-

6) Get a contractor to discuss with your design.

Door handle/knobs

I am not sure about you all, but the default door knobs the developer provided not high quality. 3 of the door knobs already mulfunction. I am not sure this is come under the warranty or not.

My house is nearly at the end, supposed to complete renovation by this month. Being the own ID, with much help from contractors giving idea and everything, looks like it is a pretty good job done.

My Kitchen Cabinet???

Pening-pening...which one to choose...I think we dont have to be complicated in choosing which brand, what color..instead, just go for the old school...like the one I found in mudah.my .. haha...

Highway Interchange to Bdr Nusaputra/ Tmn Putra Perdana Puchong - SKVE/Elite

I guess we are not long enough to wait for the interchange from ELITE to Bdr Nusaputra to complete. You can visit Nusaputra.com for details. The RM1.1 bilion SKVE project which you can see the development being build along the entrance to Tmn Putra Perdana. Sampai tasik pun kena tambak nak cacak cerucuk tiang highway.

A little bit about SKVE, the 40KM highway from Pulau Indah via Cyberjaya will connect to LDP/ Elite Highway.

Previously, during construction, we can still use the under-construction road to Elite interchange to Cyberjaya/Putrajaya, however, due to safety, the contractor have to close the road. I can still bikers can easily go through the barricade , however for cars, you have to wait until they remove the concrete pile.

And yes, this is a good news...plus, close to Selangor Science Park...and to KLIA...

Defect Again!!

Dalam post saya yg awal, ada saya sebut pasal crack dinding dapur di mana saya suspek dinding dapur saya mendap (sinking).

Dari gambar di atas, dlm petak merah, kelihatan crack lama tumbuh kembali. Nampaknya developer buat kerja sambil lewa. Dulu dah kasitau, suruh hack dinding, tapi diorang tambal simen tampal sahaja...

Tergendala jugak dapur idaman ku...

Entering the final phase of 'wet works'

Letih jugak jadik project manager renovation rumah sendiri ni. Tapi berbaloi akhirnya, sebab apa yg nak, hampir semuanya dapat. Rasa-rasa mmg semua org penah lalui time mcm ni. Nasib baik rumah mmg dah siap, kalau beli tanah jer, pastu buat rumah, pasti tergolek dekat depan pagar nak.

Khas utk penghuni Nusaputra yg nak buat renovation, simple budget tips for renovation:-

Grill(Metal Biasa) : from RM2500 utk rumah intermediaate, RM5000 for end lot
Grill(Wrought) : from RM3500 above


Plaster ceiling :
--> from RM1500 (flatboard) + Cornice (Ground Floor jer)
--> from RM3000 utk LBox Living Hall + Flat Ground Floor
--> from RM5000 utk satu rumah
**utk tingkat atas, saya cadangkan tambah cornice jer, dgn buang kayu ..kontraktor mambang boleh buat seperti plaster siling (gambar tak sempat upload)


Wiring: from RM60 satu point (tanam)

Kitchen Table Top: upah pasang from RM1000 (dari ukuran kaki 8' X 10' ) - tiles beli sendiri

Porch Tiling : upah pasang dari RM1000

Naik Dinding Simen ( ganti pagar hijau dekat depan) , all included from Rm200 (mambang)
